On 23rd of April NAFIS conducted very important workshop of discussing and analysing the current situation of female genital mutilation, what works well and what don’t work well?. NAFIS wishes to acknowledge all the participants of that workshop,
Female genital mutilation (FGM), have been practicing in Somaliland for centuries, although a lot of efforts from all FGM stakeholders have been done, the prevalence remains almost the same and according to the last recent study by NAFIS Network, it is still 99.8%.
